PICKER PACKER – ATHENS

Amer Technology is now hiring Forklift drivers to pick orders for a local client in the Athens, TX area. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity based on Performance, Safety, and Attendance.

Hours and pay:

– 1st shift 6 am-2:30 pm $16
– 2nd shift 2 pm-10:30 pm $18
– 3rd shift 10 pm-6:30 am $19
– Must be able to work OT as needed

Multiple positions are open refer a friend and get a referral fee iftheywork 90 days! All referrals must state they are a referral when we make first contact.

What will you do?

– Perform a variety of warehouse functions including picking/packing
– Follow all safety rules and requirements and perform all housekeeping responsibilities
– Pick, Pack, Load, Unload, Move, Put away, and Stage products and Materials using a forklift, or other power equipment
– Perform daily inspections of equipment
– Check orders for accuracy
– Prepare products for shipment
– Performs other duties as assigned.

– Six months or more of powered industrial truck (PIT) experience is required.
– You can identify, locate, and move products which require the ability to read, count, and perform basic math functions

– You have a High School Diploma or GED
– You must be able to handle moderate physical activity throughout your shift
– Ability to lift and/or carry products that could weigh up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications
– Warehouse experience, including materials handling and distribution center operations
– Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory management
– Ability to operate a forklift and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
– Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation
– Experience with order picking and shipping and receiving processes
– High school diploma or GED equivalent

-Must have 6 months experience or more on a forklift consistently within the last 5 years.
