Requirements:

– Graduated of an approved Physical Therapy Program
– Licensed as a Registered Physical Therapist in Texas
– Current CPR Certification
– One year of Physical Therapy experience
– Proof of reliable transportation and auto insurance

Job Description:

Provides prescribed treatments of physical therapy, which involve a complex and sophisticated level of modalities, designed to restore the patient to his/her maximum rehabilitation potential.

– Performs direct Physical Therapy services as planned by the Agency staff and certified by the patients physician.
– Assess, reports, and records patients status and progress to the Agency and physician.
– Teaches and supervises Nurses, Home Health Aides, family members and patients to provide for a continuous physical therapy program.
– Participates in clinical care conferences and inservice programs provided by the Agency.
– Deliver services to patients in accordance with accepted standards of treatment in coordination with the plan of care as overseen by the Agency.
