AbouttheRole

Imagine yourself as a Danos Account Manager! You will be responsible to establish and cultivate customer relationships, visit with customers and employees to assure service level satisfaction, develop service offerings and proposals in response to customer requests, and provide a disciplined transition of the awarded contract to project-assigned personnel. The work involves reviewing contract specifications, proposals, scope of work, and other detailed cost budgeting.

Responsibilities

– Project Orientation:Meet and provide project orientation as new team members are assigned to the project.
– Operational Improvement:Improve the operational systems, policies, and procedures in support of the Organizations and Divisions mission.
– Reporting:Develop, maintain, and manage individual and departmental reports.
– Resource Coordination:Study production schedules, forecast manpower levels, and coordinate with the Human Resources department for on-time completion of job requests.
– Budget Management:Manage account-specific budget in coordination with the Operations Manager and/or Area Manager.
– Recruitment:Work with HR to recruit, interview, and screen new personnel.
– Customer Interaction:Regular interaction with customer hiring managers and respond to requests for additional personnel, equipment, or services.
– Field Visits:Conduct regular field visits to coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise all direct and matrixed team members.
– Safety Meetings:Attend early morning safety meetings/customer meetings in remote locations as appropriate to service account.
– Business Development:Assist Business Development/Sales to bring on new customers.

Skills and Competencies

– Customer Relationship:Ability to establish and cultivate customer relationships.
– Prioritization:Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
– Communication Skills:Strong communication skills to support contract execution.

Qualifications

– Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalent; bachelors degree in business or technical focus is strongly preferred.
– Experience:3 years of experience in a customer service environment.
– Travel:Must be able to travel/drive to client field sites within assigned territory on a regular basis.
– Account Management:Previous Oil and Gas Account Management experience highly preferred.
– Residency:Must reside between Pecos, TX and Carlsbad, NM.
– Technical Skills:Advanced MS Word and Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
– Administrative Skills:Performs basic clerical and administrative tasks that require fundamental office assistance.
– Drivers License:Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
