Technical Writer

Job Title: Technical WriterJob Description

We are seeking a Technical Writer to update and analyze documentation related to meteorology instruments, specifically sensors that measure visibility during runway landings and associated errors. The role involves updating documentation for software and hardware going obsolete, including servers entering databases. Familiarity with government agency processes, FAA compliance/regulation, and aviation experience is highly desirable.

Hard Skills

Technical Writing – 2 years experience

Understanding of hardware, software, firmware

Familiarity with Scrum cycle, DevOps cycle, product development cycle

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Louisville, Colorado and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid in Louisville – 2-3 days onsite. Varies week to week – could be less or more!
