OVERVIEW
Merrick is looking for a dynamic and visionary individual to lead and develop
our talent acquisition team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for
leading successful teams and experience developing innovative talent
acquisition strategies. The Talent Acquisition Manager will craft a compelling
vision for the team, spearhead workforce analytics, foster
cross-functional collaboration and lead planning and strategy initiatives to
ensure the successful recruitment of top talent.
Typical annual pay range for this position is $122,000.00 –
$154,000.00. Pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge,
skills, and experience.
WHAT YOULL DO
Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with
the companys goals and objectives.
Analyze market trends and workforce data to anticipate future hiring needs and
adjust strategies accordingly.
Establish a budget for the TA function and ensure expenditures align with the
plan.
Team Leadership:
Create and communicate a clear vision and establish processes for the talent
acquisition team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous
improvement.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to enhance their skills and
performance.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement feedback, and professional growth.
Identify and drive efficiency improvements, empowering the team to meet
ambitious hiring goals.
Recruitment Process Management:
Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive
candidate experience.
Implement best practices for sourcing, interviewing, and hiring,
leveraging technology and innovative approaches.
Manage sourcing agreements and negotiate terms that are advantageous for the
organization.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand their talent
needs and provide strategic recruitment support.
Continuously advocate for the talent acquisition team to be viewed as a
strategic, consultative, and proactive business partner.
Build strong relationships with external partners, such as recruitment
agencies and educational institutions.
Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the
effectiveness of talent acquisition efforts.
Understand and utilize data to make strategic plans.
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on recruitment
metrics and trends.
Employer Branding:
Collaborate with Merrick Marketing to develop and promote the companys
employer brand to attract top talent.
Utilize social media, job boards, and other channels to enhance the
companys visibility and reputation as an employer of choice.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or a
related field.
Proven, progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 5
years in a managerial role.
Demonstrated expertise in recruiting systems and platforms, with a strong
focus on achieving full optimization and user adoption.
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships,
and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in an engineering or technical recruitment environment.
Experience working for a government contractor and working knowledge of hiring
in compliance with the OFCCP.
Experience with iCIMS applicant tracking software.
Self-starter adept at navigating ambiguity to establish clear roadmaps and
processes.
