We are now seeking a Lead Solutions Architect who loves the challenge of solving problems and improving peoples lives. Youll collaborate with business and information technology partners, fellow architects, engineers, delivery teams and leaders in the Insurance segment to make a major impact in the Medicare and Medicaid business by developing strategies, defining world-class solutions that improve operational efficiencies, and support technology governance.

The Lead Solutions Architect works, collaborates and partners with the Enterprise, segment, business entities, lines of business, and various domains across Insurance like Enrollment, Product, Claims, Provider, Clinical and Customer Service, etc., to set the future direction, innovate, craft and deliver solutions, define technology standard and patterns and seeks opportunities to streamline and simplify operations. The Lead Solution Architect plays a pivotal role in recommendations and outcomes for business problems throughout the health insurance segment.

The Lead Solutions Architect is instrumental to address a diverse scope of responsibility from minor to complex issues where thorough analysis, assessment and thought are required in terms the business and information technology can understand.

The Lead Solutions Architect advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of multiple factors and determining the best course of action.

The ideal candidate has a passion for data as a core asset, the skillset and desire to craft solutions, apply leading technology to real-world business problems, and has excellent communication and teamwork abilities. The ideal candidate will be a key partner to the business and information technology leaders they support.

Job Qualifications

Required

Experience leading architecture in modernization, transformation and transition journeys.

Minimum 12 years overall IT experience

Experience with developing and influencing strategies and roadmaps.

Experience working with engineers and delivery teams.

Experience in diverse technologies from leading edge, modern to legacy such as Augmented and Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language, SaaS, Cloud (Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services) .net, Java, Mainframe, etc.

Extensive experience with large enterprise software solutions.

Proven track record of driving efficiency measures in larger scale organizations.

Demonstrated experience participating in, interacting with, and improving architecture practices.

Ability to build strong relationships with business and information technology partners, including communicating complex technology concepts to non-technical audiences.

Contributed to establishing standards, patterns, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Strong leadership, analytical, organization, communication and problem-solving skills enabling sound decision making.

Preferred

Experience in Health insurance industry (Medicaid, Medicare, Specialty etc.).

Conducted Vendor evaluation and selection process for technology platforms.

Experience working in agile framework, like SAFe.

Professional experience in a role with strategic planning, resource planning, business process engineering, lean portfolio management and budgeting.

Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization.

Education and Work Experience

Must possess an accredited bachelors degree in the field of computer science, information technology, engineering or related technical field and/or demonstrated work experience with up to 8 years of progressive information technology architecture experience.

Must possess more than 12 years of demonstrated progressive information technology experience directly related to solution engineering, business application operations, integration, or other specialized technology fields focused on business outcomes.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$139,500 – $192,000 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
