Job Description
One of our clients is looking for a Remote Loyalty Solution Architect to join their team. The Loyalty Solution Architect will lead and support the architecture activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions under the Enterprise Architecture scope for North America and Europe. Solutions include, but are not limited to, loyalty engines, offer management systems, discount engines, promotional tools, communication platforms, content management systems, digital asset management systems, mobile apps, websites, personalization engines, recommendation engines, customer data platforms, master data platforms, in-store digital screens, ERP, HRMS, and POS. The architect provides the necessary leadership, analysis and design tasks related to support the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural governance and standards. Responsibilities of this individual are shown below –
Translate business requirements into technical requirements into business capability maps, value-stream maps, architectural blueprint and technology enablers to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
Work closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
Understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding enterprise solution designs and change requirements to drive the organizations targeted business outcomes.
Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.
Support product managers in end-of-life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire services, or systems, including applications, technologies, processes, and information.
Consult with application and infrastructure development projects and products to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify designs to accommodate the solutions architecture.

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years of experience as an IT Solution Architect
Experience implementing a loyalty platform into an organization (AT LEAST half way through to launch)
Understanding of how Azure works at a Solution Architecture level
Experience working with Jira
Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps
Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable traveling 10% – 20% of the time (about once a quarter – domestic and international) Experience with POS products, specifically having experience integrating a loyalty platform with NCR
Understanding and/or experience with Verifone
Experience working in the retail or fueling industry null
