AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Our primary goal is to meet customers where they are in their cloud journey and work backwards from their industry specific needs to transform their business and their entire industry. Key job responsibilities

– Familiar with linear and digital advertising models and sales methodologies (i.e. direct and programmatic)

– Technical understanding of the linear and digital adtech stacks

– Experience engaging with commercial and technical advertising stakeholders (i.e. CRO/President of Ad Sales, CTO/CDO, VP Programmatic, VP Ad Products)

– Partnering with Account Management teams to drive incremental sales pipeline and revenue growth from Media & Entertainment workloads

– Working with customers and AWS partners to identify and lead proof of concept engagements and develop new and innovative solutions

– Partnering with AWS Solutions Architecture resources in design, Proof of Concept (POC), pricing, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and delivery activities

– Collaborating with AWS professional Services to implement solutions and packaged offerings

– Conducting executive workshops with industry leaders

– Participating in and representing AWS in key Media & Entertainment industry associations and events

Work with strategic business development, account managers, solutions architects, professional services and partners to identify and develop new opportunities to deploy Media & Entertainment workloads with our customers.

Basic Qualifications

– 10 years of developing, negotiating and executing complex technology agreements within the media vertical

– 10 years developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

– Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
