Phlebotomist

LEADING HOSPITAL in Harbor City is looking for a phlebotomist to join their team! Opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment with a leading healthcare network making up to $20-22/hr.!!

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid CPT License

Ability to work any shit, any day of the week – schedule will be assigned monthly!

6 months of inpatient or outpatient blood draw experience

Job Description

Draw blood from patients fingers, heel, or vein, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood samples.

Obtain the correct amount and type of specimen.

Document all requests and release results of lab work accurately. Inform physicians of released lab results.

Complete appropriate routing, handling, and processing of various medical specimens.

Order, distribute and stock supplies as needed.

Train and report on the work performance of other lab assistants.

Expect to draw 9 patients per hour in an outpatient setting.
