Job Title: Civil DesignerJob Description

– We are seeking a 3-5 year Civil 3D Land Development Designer who can hit the ground running. The candidate must be proficient in using grading tools to quantify work templates, create tin models, grading/drainage plans, tentative maps, etc. Familiarity and knowledge of using all the different tools in Civil 3D for Land Development is essential. Experience in private sector land development is a significant advantage. KEY AREAS OF FOCUS – Land Development – AutoCAD Civil 3D usage – Civil plan creation and production DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES – Plan production type work – Creating plans, writing plans on both small and big projects – Engaging in projects at various stages – Collaborating with different project managers (weekly PM meetings to discuss projects and resources)

This is a fully on-site position in Carlsbad, California.

Work Environment

Very nice open floor plan office where all departments work in the same space. Cubicle style office environment in a modern 2-story building in Carlsbad, CA. The culture is collaborative, with team outings and happy hours. Employees feel appreciated for their work. Team sizes vary depending on project size: large projects typically have 4-5 people, while small projects have 3 (Designer, PM, Stormwater). The role requires 40 hours a week, Monday to Thursday from 8-5, and Friday from 8-12, in-office.
