Staff Accountant

Fintech company eagerly looking for a strong Staff Accountant to support their team! Looking for individuals who can work independently as this position is FULLY REMOTE!
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or higher, in Accounting, Finance, Business, or any other relate field of study
2 YOE as a Staff Accountant
Must have experience with Netsuite
Advanced proficiency with Excel
Job Description:
Preparing and booking journal entries
Performing month-end reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
Preparing and analyzing the monthly cash expenditures
Preparing and analyzing monthly fluctuations in account balances
Documenting key accounting processes and performing related accounting operation controls
Performing other accounting and financial ad-hoc reporting as directed
Identify anomalies in actual results and elevate to appropriate stakeholders
Gain proficiency in our accounting systems and tools, and drive process improvements
Develop and maintain periodic account risk assessments
Bring solutions to identified problems
Identify, document, and optimize key accounting processes
Support annual audits
Assist in internal control evaluations
Participate in a performance check-in as a part of our performance management cycle
