This is a full-time, 12-week internship that will take place between May – September 2025. This internship will be available in our Sunnyvale, Mountain View, San Francisco, or New York Office.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic candidate to join our Social Impact team, the corporate social responsibility arm of the company, which is housed within our Communications organization. This internship provides a unique and valuable learning opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in multiple career paths including but not limited to , social impact (corporate social responsibility), and non-profit partnerships.
If you passionate about helping to make a positive change with communities who have been impacted by the criminal justice system, educational barriers/ opportunities or broader societal inequities, this would be an amazing opportunity for you to gain a unique skillset in how corporations interaction responsibly with social justice sector and be immersed in bridging the gap between corporate functions and nonprofit/philanthropic programmatic partnerships.
A passionate and successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, participate in various forms of project work, and learn how LinkedIn contributes to socially and equitably with professionals overcoming barriers in hopes of creating career opportunities through empathy-driven and dignified initiatives/ partnerships.

Responsibilities:
Work closely with cross-functional global impact marketing and social impact teams to learn the ins and outs of researching and connecting with leading nonprofits doing innovative programmatic work inside the criminal justice system, workforce development, and beyond
Assist with executing impact strategy, plans, campaigns and events in partnership with a range of non-profit partners and organizations
Support partnership operations to build understanding of corporate social responsibility landscapes
Engage closely with social impact teams who drive equitable partnerships with nonprofits who aim to assist professionals overcoming unique barriers
Basic analysis on program/campaign performance and provide recommendations and insights based on data
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Political Science, International Relations, Ethnic or Gender Studies, or related field.
Currently enrolled in a college or university program and returning to school the term following your summer internship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding and strong interest in social issues
Changemaker mindset- caring deeply about equity and some experience working on community impact or nonprofit programs
Deep empathy towards the nonprofit experience and passionate about bringing resources to organizations and helping them be successful in their initiatives
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build great relationships with both internal teams and external community members
Strong project management, research and planning skills
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in MS Suite (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT)

The pay for this role is $30 USD per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
