Cad Drafter

Description:

CAD Drafter will work on a CAD team within Amazon Robotics. This team is responsible for supporting deployment efforts and providing drawing “MAPS” to the field to support deployment, installation, and integration efforts. Candidate will be responsible for taking CAD designs from the AR solution team and making them deployment ready. This includes:

– exclusively using AutoCad

– Receiving CAD designs, cleaning them up, ensuring there are no interferences

– Adding layers to the design to support deployment

– Putting the designs in a format for construction

– Taking items from library, cutting it and placing it, attention to detail.

The MAPS/documents this candidate will be creating are live documents and will be accessible to team members in the field. The ideal candidate will not only have the technical capability to support, but must have strong communication ability to collaborate with team members who will be using these MAPS to get their jobs done in the field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of AA degree.

Manager will consider someone without a degree with the right experience.
