Cook/Preschool Teacher

Requirements: Valid Drivers License Enrollment in the Child Care
central background registry Food Handlers card 1st Aid/CPR (or
obtain within 90 days) Child Abuse/Neglect and Health and Safety
online classes In Addition to the Above ONE of the Following: A) 1 year
State or Nationally recognized credential B) Completion of 10 credits at
a College or University in Early Childhood Education with 6 months
experience in a Certified Center (with preschool age children) C) At
least 1 year of qualifying teaching experience in a certified center
(with preschool age children) D) At least a step 8 in the Oregon
Registry Job Duties: To operate the Center in compliance with State
requirements Plan, prepare and serve meals Shop weekly Maintain
menus Shared Duties: Assist with putting down cots Sit with
children at quiet time (including non-nappers) Sweep and mop floors
as needed Sanitize cots and toys as needed Clean bathrooms and
water fountain Empty garbage Do laundry as needed Wash dishes
Run errands Assist in putting away cots Assist with after-nap
hygiene Assist with preparing, serving and clean up after snack
Plan and/or assist with afternoon activities Maintain daycare inside
and out Maintain own personal file Collect payments, write
receipts Make bank deposits Maintain open communication with
parents Relay information relevant to families and children to the
Director Substitute for other staff Other duties as assigned
Hours: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm
