Requisition Summary
Support our export dealers and customers to help make our product the best it can be. As an Export Service Manager, you will be responsible to support assigned export dealers. Make decisions in the field that will immediately impact our customers lives and belief in our product. You will work with multiple vendors and suppliers as well as multiple areas within PACCAR including Kenworth engineering, production, sales, PACCAR Parts, accounting, applications, and PACCAR Technical Center.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Provides management assistance to dealers to ensure proper customer support in accordance with Kenworth service and warranty related objectives.
Works with dealer management to develop action plans to improve dealer service, product certifications, and customer satisfaction.
Assists in the reduction of Kenworth warranty costs.
Establishes an effective counseling and advisory role with dealer management regarding service performance objectives.
Assists in training and developing dealer service personnel.
Expands the Kenworth Service Support network within the assigned international dealers in any applicable aftermarket program.
Maintain a technical working knowledge and troubleshooting techniques of all truck components and systems.
Coordinate with Dealers, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service and major suppliers to identify and prioritize technical training needs.
Additional task can be assigned to support customers visits.
This position will require approximately 25% international travel.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in engineering or automotive technology preferred.
5 years of directly related experience is required.
Personal computer skills include working knowledge of Excel, Word Processing, and database management software.
Working knowledge of Davie IV, ESA, Cummins Insite
Ability to work independently; demonstrated experience in truck systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including formal presentations in a classroom environment.
Solid interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Experience in dealer service/service management, preferably in heavy truck or automotive field, or related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of Kenworth truck manufacturing processes and products.
Maintain a strong knowledge of Kenworth electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, electronics systems to support the continuing increase in electrical and network complexity.
Coordinate with Dealers, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service and major suppliers to identify and prioritize training needs.
