Intern – Product Development (Summer 2025)

Looking to apply your technical skills to an organization impacting global resourcefulness? We are hiring an Intern to support our product development team in Summer 2025.
In this role, you will support data analysis and visualization, report and presentation creation, programming and product development.
Duration: 40 hours/wk during the summer, potential flexible hours into fall term.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support and learn from senior level staff and engineers
Work with cross functional teams to support product and technology development
Complete programming tasks related to data analysis and product development – including running tests, characterizing solutions and documenting results
Utilize Excel and related graphing tools to visualize charts and information
Analyze information and provide feedback
Required Skills & Experience:
Education: Enrolled in a related degree or training program, with completion of at least two years of coursework (preference for electrical engineering and computer science)
Intermediate Excel skills
Professional workplace communication skills
Ability to think critically and work through challenges
Intermediate programming abilities in Python or C
Availability to work hybrid – remote and on site at Itron headquarters in Liberty Lake, WA
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with data visualization
Advanced programming abilities in Python or C

Physical Demands:This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
Liberty Lake, WA: Hourly wage: minimum wage – $44.23.
