Job Duties/Scope Of Work
This position provides support to the Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) Information Management Services team primarily as a Buyers Technical Representative (BTR) for IT services, construction, software, hardware, maintenance and support contracts. Primary job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Interfacing and coordinating assigned work with other Information Management BTRs, projects, and contracts personnel.
• Collaborating with subcontractor as the HMIS representative.
• Developing, reviewing, and approving statements of work.
• Providing subcontractor technical direction within the scope of the Subcontract.
• Documenting and monitoring subcontractor performance, milestones, deliverables / submittals, billing and invoicing as required.
• Reviewing and approving Buyers Change Requests and creating/approving Contract Change Requests.
• Maintaining comprehensive records for all assigned subcontracts.
• Ensuring the subcontractor complies with the technical, quality and administrative requirements of the subcontract, subcontract release.
• Ensuring that all statement of work and/or performance work statement deliverables are received, reviewed, and recorded in the appropriate document storage area.
• Communicating appropriately as changes are needed to subcontractor work scope, schedule, or funding.
• Other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
The selected candidate will receive training and qualifications on HMIS-specific BTR and subcontracting requirements.
Basic Qualifications
• BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years experience in Program/Project Management, specifically working with subcontractors.
• High degree of organization, planning, record keeping ability, and proven ability to plan in advance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with proper phone and video communications etiquette.
• Must be able to communicate with all levels of management, primarily at the executive level.
Desired Qualifications
• Prior government OR commercial experience performing BTR (or subcontract representative) duties.
Compensation & Benefits
Grade 16: $86,138 – $108,513
Grade 17: $94,650 – $119,250
Grade 18: $104,175 – $131,425
