SUMMARYThe Business Development & Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and growing key relationships that will drive member growth. The incumbent will seek opportunities to expand the organization’s reach, and partner with internal stakeholders on key initiatives to drive strategic growth. Additionally, the Business Development & Marketing Specialist will identify and refer opportunities of community and industry events.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1.Develop strategic business development and marketing plans to expand the Credit Union’s membership base through community outreach and County Excellence FCU partnerships.2.Collaborate with the Credit Union’s leadership and functional areas on the planning, development, and execution of business strategies that support the Credit Union’s mission, vision, strategic pillars, values and goals.3.Drive business development goals and ensure alignment with organizational strategic objectives.4.Identify and pursue opportunities to grow and enhance County Excellence FCU’s relationships with its communities.5.Responsible for participating in activities centered on prospecting new members and cross-sell opportunities to existing members.6.Focus on generating quality loans and corresponding business deposits.7.Ability to represent the Credit Union at public events in a professional manner, as well as managing social media accounts and responding appropriately using self-directed judgment that represents the Credit Union’s brand image and core values.8.Develop and maintain Credit Union’s website and Social Media accounts9.Maintain and enhance Credit Union’s newsletter10.Ability to communicate and attract new members of all age groups and generations.11.Cultivate partnerships with community organizations to promote the Credit Union’s mission and values.12.Maintain and strengthen existing Credit Union’s relationships through regular communication and engagement activities.13.Actively monitor Credit Union’s performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.14.Develop promotional materials and campaigns targeted at the community audience.15.Other duties as assigned and pertaining to the position.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:1.Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or related field2.3 years of experience, with at least 1 years in outside B2B2C sales experience3.Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the financial services industry4.Knowledge of Credit Union operations, products, and services is a plusQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:1.Must have excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.2.Must possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.3.Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of stakeholders.4.Strong analytical abilities.5.Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.6.Excellent Customer Service.7.Willingness to travel within the local communities as needed.8.In possession of a valid driver’s license.9.Responsible for abiding and complying with the policy for compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering laws and regulations (BSA/AML) and the policy for compliance with office of foreign assets control laws and regulations (OFAC).WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
