We currently have two shift options available:
Shift 1 = Monday – Thursday (6:00am to 4:30pm)
Shift 2 = Tuesday – Friday (6:00am to 4:30pm)
Rate = $ 17 per hour
Position Overview: PlanITROI is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Production Department as an Apple Computer Repair Technician. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and re-configuring IT equipment to meet customer specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, assemble, and reconfigure IT equipment, including desktops, notebooks, Chromebooks, phones, and tablets.
Configure, upgrade and test computer hardware and peripherals.
Collaborate with production personnel to drive and complete projects efficiently.
Inspect, classify, sort, count, diagnose, evaluate, disassemble, and repair computer hardware with technical accuracy.
Document configuration details, repairs performed, and cosmetic information in our database.
Organize and maintain the technical facility to ensure an efficient workflow.
Assist in setting standards and policies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Coach entry-level computer technicians to ensure adherence to performance standards.
Ensure accurate movement and tracking of inventory within the department, both physically and in the system.
Assist management in determining the optimal disposition of inventory, including repair, selling as-is, or wholesale.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or technical training preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in computer hardware and software.
Strong diagnostic and trouble-shooting abilities.
Experience with BIOS configuration and upgrade utilities.
Ability to configure, maintain, and upgrade PC/Notebook workstations, including Apple products.
Competence in identifying and installing PC/Notebook hardware and peripherals, including Apple.
Ability to explain technical and non-technical information clearly.
Capability to understand and follow instructions presented in various formats (written, oral, or diagram).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
