Administrative Assistant to the Universidy Director of Career Development

The Administrative Assistant to the University Director of Career Development provides administrative support to the Office of Career Development including but not limited to, use of electronic mail; computerized data management; assistance with the planning and implementation of events; compiling information for research and special projects; and oversight of department social media and student workers. 1.High School or GED degree required.. 2.Personal computer proficiency for word processing, spreadsheets and data management applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel PowerPoint) and e-mail is required. Experience with Datatel is a plus. 3.Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to work with various populations including students, alumni, staff, faculty and external constituents. 4.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 5.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
