The Infrastructure End User Device Manager role requires an individual that understands the ever-changing and fast paced world of technology and can employ a structured and disciplined approach to design, implementation, project management and documentation. The candidate will lead a team tasked with the support of a large-scale endpoint computer and mobile device environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective deployment, security, and maintenance of our M365, desktop and mobile device infrastructure.
Primary responsibilities will include oversight for the implementation, administration, and optimization of desktop and mobile configuration management, endpoint security and related technologies. The manager will be required to work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to streamline workflows, remove inefficiencies and improve productivity to maximize the value received from the end user device and M365 product portfolio. Additional responsibilities will be focused on development and implementation of strategies for end user device management and endpoint security
Security is extremely important at Atlantic Health and as such this position should always be aware of the latest security alerts, best practices, and methods of mitigating these issues in production while minimizing user impact and downtime. This entails working closely with our CyberSecurity team
Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation, administration and optimization of SCCM, Intune, CrowdStrike, Imprivata OneSign, Igel thin clients, Microsoft 365 productivity tools and related technologies
Ensure end user device security and compliance and alignment with organizational policies and best practices
Oversee software packaging, distribution, and patch management processes
Stay informed on emerging technologies, security threats and best practices while developing and implementing strategies for end user device, office productivity tools and endpoint security
Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and seek solutions to solve challenges and improve efficiency
Work with Client Services management to plan the lifecycle of desktop and mobile device hardware and software
Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to desktop management, security and M365 collaboration tools
Prepare and manage the team’s budget, identifying opportunities through vendor management, contract negotiations and efficient utilization of resources to reduce costs and maximize return on investment (ROI)
Oversee project management for endpoint security and desktop management initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and the timely, budget-compliant completion of deliverables.
Foster teamwork and collaboration across multi-disciplinary IT Department teams to ensure seamless integration of end user device management solutions and support departmental and organizational initiatives
Serve as the highest escalation point for end user device and M365 technology troubleshooting
Lead, mentor and motivate team members, fostering their skill development and supporting their professional growth
Take on additional responsibilities as required by changing organizational needs
Minimum 8 years Information Technology experience in an enterprise environment
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and other relevant certifications preferred
Proven leadership skills in team building, staff development and promotion, and recruitment and retaining of talent
Extensive knowledge of SCCM, CrowdStrike, Imprivata OneSign, Intune MDM, Igel thin clients, Microsoft 365 and related technologies
Demonstrated knowledge andor experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices
