The Learning Business Partner, Launch Excellence will act as the primary liaison for proactive identification of learning demand needs, prioritization, and alignment with senior business leadership on launch capabilities to support complex and high-profile product launches across Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM).

Principal Responsibilities:

Effectively establish, deepen, and sustain key relationships with senior business stakeholders.

Proactively consult and diagnose business needs/performance gaps to identify learning solution opportunities to support launch capabilities.

Lead effort to create a unified set of learning programs supporting launch capabilities and performance programs, in strategic alignment with the Pan-Innovative Medicine launch capability strategy.

Provide learning expertise and review content / learning solutions as needed in coordination with the Learning and Development (L&D) Experience and Enablement team to ensure business needs alignment to drive desired outcomes.

Ensure connectivity, standardization, and best practices within JJIM therapeutic area launch strategies and pull through from strategy to execution.

Support launch planning activity and ensure learning plans address gaps, risks, and potential impact to timelines.

Provide learning insights that supports Launch Readiness Teams by leveraging the Launch Excellence guidance documents, tools and resources.

Advise Launch Readiness Team members on Launch Excellence Framework resources and providing feedback to brand teams.

Understand the suite of Innovative Medicine L&D Center of Excellence (COE) capabilities and remain current on Innovative Medicine L&D strategies, priorities, standards, and tools/technologies, to inform business on optimal solution.

Institutionalize Launch Learnings: Harness and incorporate internal and external launch learnings for a continuous feedback loop.

Identify best practices and analogs for a knowledge management repository.

Identify any knowledge gaps in launches and close them for the organization.

Engage in demand/capacity planning with Strategic Planning and Operations Lead to inform annual demand plan and budget needs.

Support a culture of learning, smart risk-taking and experimentation.

Collaborate with leadership to embed leadership capability building during business planning and ongoing business strategy development.

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. Advanced degree (Masters, MBA) in Learning, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or Education is preferred.

A minimum of 8 years of healthcare industry experience is required.

Strong understanding of learning and development is required.

Strong learning agility is required.

Expertise in facilitation/training delivery is required.

Business experience and industry knowledge to influence company/franchise level decisions and strategies on how best to develop talent is required.

Previous experience as a District Sales Manager or in a Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) role is highly preferred

Diverse experience in prior commercial roles (sales, sales leadership, account management, marketing, analytics, etc.) is preferred.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must have strong leadership, influence management, strategic thinking and organizational skills.

The ability to lead cross-functional work teams is required.

The ability to create consultative business partnerships and collaborate with business leaders to deliver high impact solutions that drive superior business results is required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA is $166,000 to $267,145.

The anticipated base pay range for this position in all other U.S. locations is $135,000 to $232,300.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporations performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Companys discretion on an individual basis.

Employees may be eligible to participate in the Companys consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

Sick time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
