Position Summary:

As a Sandblaster, you will operate specialized machinery that fires high-powered jets of sand at metal assemblies within a dedicated sandblast room. Your main responsibility will be to remove paint, grime, adhesives, rust, or surface imperfections to prepare metal structures for paint finishing. This role requires stamina and upper body strength.

Key Responsibilities:

Sandblast metal assemblies to remove surface imperfections.

Ensure safety while handling parts and operating equipment to prevent damage and ensure production safety.

Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed.

Skills:

General labor

Sandblasting

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.

1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Positive attitude and flexibility with schedule to cover shifts and additional duties.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Comfortable working around chemicals and sand products.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of completing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
