POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Generalist I, II

SHIFT HOURS: 8:00am to 5:00pm

LOCATION: Onsite at LSI Solutions in Victor, NY

HOURLY PAY RANGE: $58,500.00 – $80,000.00

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST JOB SUMMARY

Provides Human Resources (HR) services for LSI Solutions employees. This position is responsible for performing HR tasks and for providing HR services for company leaders and team members across several HR functions including (but not limited to): recruiting, new employee on-boarding, performance management, employer and employee legal compliance, employee relations, benefits administration, HR policies and procedures compliance, employee off-boarding.

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST I

Help managers to recruit and onboard new employees.

Plan and lead LSI New Employee Orientation.

Manage HR data.

Continuously monitor and align with HR compliance requirements at the federal, state, and local levels.

Manage the HR internal brand and the LSI external employer brand.

Monitor HR processes and tools, seek and recommend opportunities for continuous improvements.

Participate in creating and fulfilling requests for HR services.

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST II

All the above functions/tasks/activities/deliverables, plus those listed below.

Support the HR Generalist I as they help managers to recruit and onboard new employees.

Extend offers to new employees, manage all new hire negotiations.

Conduct Employee Relations Intake Meetings, manage and/or refer these issues to another HR Generalist.

Manage the annual review and publication of the LSI Employee Handbook.

Manage the LSI Recognition and Reward Programs.

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

All other duties as assigned.

HUMAN RESOURCSE GENERALIST EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or documentation of High School Equivalency required; Associates or Bachelors Degree desired.

HR Generalist I – minimum one year of practical Human Resources experience.

HR Generalist II – minimum three years of practical Human Resources experience.

HUMAN RESOURCES GENERALIST KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Able to view talent management issues strategically and tactically, and with empathetic impartiality.

Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently, as the work requires.

Intermediate proficiency to create, edit and format documents in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and in Adobe Forms, Sign, Fill & Sign.

Basic proficiency to create, edit, format, and perform data analyses in Microsoft Excel.

Advanced proficiency utilizing ADP HRIS functions including the Talent Bundle, and other ancillary modules.

Able to communicate effectively and with a service mindset with internal customers and external service providers.

Able to think and act proactively.

Advanced skills in planning the workday and the workload to meet inflexible deadlines for deliverables.

Advanced skills in organizing hard copy and electronic files.

Able to manage multiple priorities and deliverables and to deliver perfectly accurate work on time, amidst distractions.

Able to protect confidential data using personal discretion and company data protection procedures for hard copy and electronic data.
