Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in the Wyoming, NY area . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $26-30/hour based on experience and skill level.If you are an Electrician eager to master your skills alongside other accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

Repair, maintain & install electrical systems and equipment such as motors transformers wiring switches programmable controller and alarm systems

Locate and determine electrical malfunction using test instruments such as ampmeter oscilloscope and test lamp

Repair malfunction by such methods as replacing burnt out elements and fuses

Replace defective wiring, adjust and repair switch contact points and cleaning or rewiring motors using hand tools

Test electrical equipment such as generators and heaters for safety and efficiency; uses standard test equipment

Install fixtures motors and other electrical equipment and makes adjustments using hand tools

Inspect circuits and wiring for specified shielding and grounding and repairs or rewires system according to building codes and safety regulations

Replace bearings in electric motors

Repair mechanical pneumatic hydraulic or electronic components using standard tools and gages

Plan layout and wire new installations

Repair and maintain in accordance with diagrams sketches operation manuals and manufacturers specifications machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines starters pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machines and equipment

Observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble

Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts

Examine parts to detect imperfections

Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements

Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments

Repair or replace defective parts

Install special functional and structural parts in device starts devices to test their performance

Lubricate equipment and clean parts

Initiate requisition for parts and machines

Repair electrical equipment

Install machinery and equipment according to layout plane blueprints and other drawings

Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures

Dismantle machines

Move machinery and equipment

Assemble and install equipment such as shafting conveyors and tram rails

Constructs foundation for machines

Assemble machines and equipment aligns bolts welds rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures

Repair and maintain physical structures of commercial and industrial establishments such as factories and office buildings

Replace defective electrical switches and other fixtures
