Job Title: Security Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire alarm systems, access control, intrusion detection, and security system installations. The Security Technician will be responsible for both installation and service work, ensuring that all systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards. A NICET Certification is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain fire alarm systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and other security systems.

Perform routine maintenance and service work on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with security systems promptly and efficiently.

Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.

Ensure all installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

Maintain accurate records of installations, services performed, and any issues encountered.

Provide training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of their security systems.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Security Technician or similar role.

Extensive knowledge of fire alarm systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and security system installations.

Ability to perform both installation and service work.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

NICET Certification is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in security system installation and maintenance.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry up to (X) pounds.

Comfortable working at heights and in various environments.
