Ensure the safety of all of All-Clads employees, visitors, and contractors through compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, environmental laws, regulations, and standards as well as company-specific safety guidelines.

Identify and evaluate occupational health, safety, and environmental conditions and practices in the workplace.
Conduct and coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices
Provide advice and counsel concerning all city, state, and federal compliance regulations
Develop and implement controls for identified hazards.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of the hazard control system, policies and procedures and recommend changes that reflect improved opportunities to eliminate work place accidents and injuries.
Direct the development and execution of specialized safety and environmental education and training materials
Provide new employee occupational health, safety and environmental orientation
Compile, analyze, interpret and report accident, loss, and exposure statistical data; prepare comprehensive recommendations for corrective action to eliminate or minimize potential hazards.
Direct environmental compliance programs related to hazardous wastes, air, water pollution control, and community right-to-know programs.
Recommend the purchase of safety equipment and supplies.
Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.
Chair safety committee meetings with union and company representatives
Management of VCS Program.
Report and provide review of findings from accident investigations, facilities inspections, or environmental testing.
Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment in order to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance.
Schedule and conduct all OSHA and company based training programs per regulation requirements
Review safety programs to determine their adequacy and make recommendations where improvement is needed.
Interview individuals to gather information about work environments and workplace incidents.
Review plans and specifications for construction of new machinery or equipment in order to determine if all safety requirements have been met.
Compile, analyze, interpret, and communicate statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents
Manages Workers Compensation, injury support, and bill pay
Reporting of annual TIER IIs, Form Rs, Residual, and Biennial Reports.
Maintain (m)SDS inventory and updates
Update Top Screen reports to Department of Homeland Security
Maintain hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with local and state regulations
Conduct all Industrial hygiene related testing for the facility to ensure healthy working conditions
Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this position.
Bring your competencies:
Bachelors degree in Industrial Safety, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Sciences
3 – 5 years of EH&S management/coordination experience required.
Computer skills required especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have knowledge of ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001
Understanding of OSHA General Industry standards
Understanding of DEP Air and Waste Regulations
