Inventory Control and Quality Control Specialist

Quality Control:

– Examine and test various characteristics of MIC product line and individual parts and compare those results with specified requirements to determine whether there is a conformity

Inventory:

– Receive and stock inventory
– Check material for damage and notify management of shortages or damage
– keep inventory area clean
– Check paperwork to assure proper shipment or received materials is in order
– Must be capable of maintaining the shipping and receiving areas, performing duties such as loading and unloading material.
– Read drawings and deliver parts to appropriate department for proper assembly and manufacturing
– Knowledge of MRP system and inventory control system preferred
– Must maintain work orders as far as proper close out procedures and data entry procedures.
– Conduct inventories
– Wrap and/or pack material for shipment, seal cartons or nail boxes together and covers in place
– Load, unload and deliver material by hand , hand truck or fork truck
– Deliver and pick up parts using company vehicle when needed

Experience and Education Requirements:

– GED or High School Diploma or Technical School Diploma
– Prior experience reading blueprints and assembly drawings
– Hold valid drivers license

Physical Requirements:

– Lifting up to 50 lbs. — frequently
– Pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs. Occasionally
– Carry up to 50 lbs. — frequently
– Bending, climbing, squatting, standing — up to 10 hours per day
