Responsibilities
Manage Bacharachs Field Operations Team and all projects from start to completion representing MSA as the installing contractor, making sure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the customers satisfaction. Responsible for planning, documentation, management of team, quality, timelines, and resource management including 3rd party resources, as well as execution. Customer interaction, project management skills, and excellent communication will be critical for success.
Responsible for overseeing the work of field service engineers, who install, repair, commission, and maintain equipment and systems at customer sites. Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, provide training and support, monitor performance, and ensure quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities: Planning, Managing, and Oversee the Performance of Service Team
Manage the field operations team.
Planning and documenting project work, technician schedules, tasks, and parts orders.
Aligning with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the jobs are progressing in accordance with expectations.
Reviews drawing, provides configurations, and reviews SOW with installers.
Acting as the point of contact for issues and communications. Executing the Growth Plan
Ensures objectives and goals are performed, completed, and executed on time.
Oversees projects to ensure they are starting as scheduled, completed on budget and time.
Regularly meet with project resources to align project expectations.
Works closely with the Sales Technical Support Specialist to ensure shipments, schedules, and planning are on track and adjusts if otherwise. Monitoring Team Performance and Conduct Coaching and Audits:
Provide continual support and communication both internally and externally throughout the project and resolve any conflicts that arise.
Watch for themes that the Technicians and/or 3rd party installers need more training on.
Provide coaching and training or make recommendations to the US Field Service Supervisor for additional training. Closing Out Projects:
Aligning with project resources and customer to assure seamless closeout procedures are followed and assure project documentation is completed.
Follow-up to ensure the customer invoicing step is properly initiated.
Close the loop with customer and MSA sales to ensure project was completed as expected.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Required:
At least five years of experience working in an operations/field service/project management capacity or role.
Associates degree or equivalent years of related work experience required.
Project management certification. HVAC-R experience.
Experience in reviewing/understanding drawings and procedures.
Demonstrated communication skills.
Experience working with SAP CRM or equivalent pipeline management tool.
Skilled in Excel, Work, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
Responsible for $6-10M of commercial business over a financial year.
45-65% travel Education Preferred:
Bachelors degree majoring in business management and PMP certification preferred.
