THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be primarily tasked with delivering comprehensive support for all Information Technology hardware, software, and systems within the facility, encompassing both networked and standalone configurations. The facility operates multiple Local Area Networks, which adds to the complexity of the environment due to the integration of various networked and non-networked devices, a diverse array of hardware and peripherals, numerous custom and commercial software applications, and different platforms including desktops, laptops, mainframes, and servers. Additionally, you will be responsible for systems administration, the installation and maintenance of computer and network equipment and software, providing user technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, acting as a liaison, keeping up with technological advancements, managing software applications for facility operations, overseeing IT equipment and supplies, and executing related tasks and special projects.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $58,035 (before taxes)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services; or
One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; or
One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associates degree in any information technology field; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
