PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Performs a variety of clerical duties, provides customer service to salesmen and customers, prepares documentation for seed export.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs order entry and processes data entry related to credit status, acknowledgements and product and price verification.
Answers telephone, determines the nature of business and directs call to correct department or person.
Communicates with customers, salesmen, brokers and management to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, take orders and address complaints.
Operates office machines such as photocopiers, printers, personal computers.
Interacts with brokers and government officials to ascertain seed export requirements, and facilitate international shipments.
Prepares documentation for seed export.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
Follows GROWMARKs Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Normally requires an Associates Degree in agricultural or business discipline, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more work experience.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license, a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to work extended hours as business conditions warrant.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must be proficient in Spanish, speaking, reading and writing.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARKs policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
