Sodexo is seeking a fulltime Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, Registered (NDTR or DTR) at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) Schuylkill Hospital. This is a clinical position, working with the Dietitians and patients at Schuylkill Hospital.

No weekends or holidays!

The successful candidate will:

perform nutrition screening of patients and assess nutrition risk levels per established criteria;

provide appropriate nutrition education;

conduct meal rounds and tray audits;

participate in performance improvement initiatives with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction; and

participate in departmental activities, meetings, committees and other nutrition related tasks.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:

Associate in Applied Science Degree in Dietetic Technology OR Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics;

DTR or NDTR – required ;

a good knowledge base of diet and related medical nutrition therapies;

sound nutrition education skills;

interpersonal skills to effectively interact with a diverse population and collaborate in a team environment; and

good time management skills.
