CS&D is a newly created board area focused on establishing greater connectivity and intimacy in SAP customer interaction through a range of distinctive and innovative services addressing specific customer needs. The CS&D Global Customer Engagement & Services team drives successful delivery and implementation in support of Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV), elevating Adopt and Consume to its full potential within all regions and fostering a successful customer engagement and experience for all relevant customer scenarios.

As the Global Customer Engagement & Services (GCE&S) organization under the Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) Board Area, we help customers to innovate fast and realize the business benefits from their SAP investments.

The CS&D GCE&S organization is comprised of ~ 2,000 employees organised regionally, with a P&L into Services of 4 BN that delivers a simple to consume adoption and consumption portfolio, driving cloud success and customer outcomes.

What you will do

As the NA Head for Business Transformation and Architecture, you are responsible to realize the Business Transformation & Architecture mission by overseeing two strategic units and pursuing synergies and a seamless customer experience within the CS&D region.

EA: The EA team, reporting into you, consists of regional Enterprise Architects, who can be assigned to any RISE customer account across the region to unlock the value of SAPs solutions and enable rapid innovation adoption, thanks to your teams expert architecture guidance.

BTS: Business Transformation Services unit that combines experienced business and enterprise architects as well as process consultants to identify and bring to life real customer business model transformations. Those engagements are underpinned by deep industry and business process expertise and accomplished in tight collaboration with our customers and partners. The BTS Teams have the objective to support the MUs to maximize the benefits of all Customer Value Journeys in the region.

The BTA Head will ensure the delivery excellence of the Business and IT Advisory services across the region and the creation of customer referrals. He/She will be able to establish and manage strong synergies between the Enterprise Architecture and the Business transformation Services, helping both units to complement each other.

The Key Responsibilities include:

Act as role model leading key customer transformations driving innovation adoption and building trust.

Translate the CE&S regional and global BTA objectives (strategic and tactical) into consistent and tangible actions for the regional BTA team.

Establish a leadership model that inspire and multiple the growth of the professional talents in the team and beyond in SAP.

Interact with the MUs, regional and global stakeholders to leverage the SAP assets and networking for our customers.

Grow team skills in strategic areas of growth for SAP.

Coordination of resources allocation to maximize regional impact on the customers CLT and keeping solid utilization figures.

Develop and manage practice growth and skill set of teams according to demand.

Contribute to the MUs and Regional adoption KPIs.

Contribute to P&L targets in terms of team utilization targets and delivery excellence (cost to serve / mitigate escalations).

Support strategic collaboration with our partner ecosystem.

Support the global BTA organization to collaborate with the respective development. organisations to provide input to architecture roadmaps based on field customer and partner experience.

Promote and develop the use of tools and methodology to spread their consistent use throughout the organization.

Representing the affairs of SAP externally in your region as an ambassador of SAP, its strategy, values, and culture.

Establish a regional leadership model that inspires and multiples the growth of the professional talents in the team and beyond in SAP. Grow Team skills in the strategic area of growth for SAP.

What you bring

At least 15 years professional work experience in consulting for business and IT transformation or in comparable responsibility.

Experienced in leading international teams of professionals.

Experienced in shaping and driving SAP Transformation projects in complex and international environment.

Experienced in interacting with CxOs, connect with their priorities and influence their agenda.

Strong change management capabilities to shift mindset in alignment to the SAP strategic objectives.

Experienced in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & programs.

Experienced in customer interaction.

Strong communications and presentation skills.

Strong business acumen.

Excellent networking and relationship skills.

Professional training and certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [PSAPEA2023], TOGAF) are a plus.

Leads others in a manner that builds their confidence and capabilities, challenging and supporting employees to learn and grow from their experiences.

Sets clear performance expectations for self and others, monitors and guides progress, seeks and gives feedback, appraises results.

Builds and communicates a vision for the future of SAP and the individual teams part in that future. Defines core purpose and direction, fosters motivation and commitment, initiates or manages strategic change process.

Team player and cross cultural leadership experience.

Higher education degree (Masters degree or MBA preferred e.g. business administration, economics, computer sciences, engineering etc.).

Fluent written and spoken English (knowledge of one or more languages of the regional countries is a plus).

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $370,400 – $629,700 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
