JOB SUMMARY
Kutak Rock LLP seeks a Litigation Attorney to join its Philadelphia office. Qualified candidates have at least six years of complex civil litigation experience. Experience in asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and personal injury defense preferred, but not required. This dynamic role affords the opportunity to work in Kutak Rocks national asbestos Litigation practice.

Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to address sophisticated legal issues in complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and appeals
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and drive to help shape and expand a growing practice
Ability and confidence to work independently while thriving in a collaborative, team environment
Ability to be mentored and taught remotely by attorneys in other office
Commitment to achieving the goals of Firm clients

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA accredited law school required. Preference will be given to those with strong academic credentials, a judicial clerkship, or law review experience
Currently admitted to practice in Pennsylvania with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within the first year of employment.
Minimum six years of experience in complex civil litigation with courtroom and trial experience required. Preference given to those with asbestos, toxic tort, product liability, and personal injury litigation experience

Position Information
Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $150,000-$190,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Work Location: Hybrid 3:2
