1st Shift Shop Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a Shop Helper to assist with various types of general labor and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, experience with hand tools, and be comfortable lifting upwards of 50 lbs. This person will be responsible for helping to maintain all of the inventory in the yard and preparing equipment for sale and rental. Candidates will be cleaning and doing light service to equipment and will need to work both indoors and outdoors.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Manassas, Virginia.

Work Environment

The environment is hard working, with a collaborative team measured on production (time to complete a job/task). Moving quickly and efficiently is required to meet performance expectations. The work environment is both indoor and outdoor, hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Emphasis is placed on a strong benefits package and potential for upward mobility within the company. Shift: M-F, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM – OT Shift: M-F, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Some Saturday work involved as well.
