Software Engineer

Description

Leidos is seeking a Software Engineer to join our National Security Sector (NSS) software organization. The individual will work with the NSS Software Center team on a series of projects to stand-up and support operations for the Center. The successful candidate will perform hands-on activities and provide technical assistance to the Software Center Chief Architect including the design, development, test, and deployment of software solutions.

Basic Qualifications

Working towards a degree in a STEM related major (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.)

Experience with or understanding of software development technologies to include one or more development/scripting languages (e.g. Java, C, Python); DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, Git)

Understanding of Cloud technologies

Understanding of database technologies

Primary Responsibilities

Take direction from the Chief Architect and NSS SW Center Lead for technical tasks

Design, Develop, Test, and Deploy software systems

Implement technical solutions that support the functions of the NSS SW Center

Requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,950.00 – $97,525.00
