Department Summary
Surpassing network limitations of the past, our Wireless Development organization is building the country’s first cloud-native, standalone 5G wireless network. This is the foundation of a connected world flexible enough to satisfy all the social, economic and transformative needs of today and the future.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Designing, deploying, and optimizing new sites using Planet/ACP & Drive test tools (XCAL/XCAP)
Creating RFDS/CIQ and ACDM for E911 regulatory compliance
Auditing and implementing GPL parameters in Samsungs USM tool
Creating drive test routes, processing data for cluster optimization, and in-building walk test data collection
Performing nighttime maintenance for CU/DU parameter updates
Creating KMZ files and using Mapinfo to present drive data with thematic maps
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Applications, or a closely related field, plus 5 years of relevant 5G NR optimization work experience in job offered or Senior RF Engineer Design & Optimization.
5 years of work experience
Skills and Qualifications:
Providing RF optimization for pre/post drive to improve network KPIs
Knowledge of 5G NR technology, especially Samsung 5G NR O-RAN
Designing macro and small cell RF, including site development, RF design sheets, and KPIs for 3GPP technologies
Using planning tools like Planet/Atoll, with expertise in propagation model tuning using network drive data
Setting up, calibrating, and processing data for design and optimization equipment
Creating drive routes, post-processing RF drive test log files, and performing interference analysis for co-location
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $95,634.00/Year – $136,626.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the roles location and is subject to change based on work location.
