The Capital One Brand team is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand & Content Marketing to lead and scale Capital One Software’s brand marketing and full-funnel B2B content program. We’re looking for an accomplished marketer to partner with Brand Strategy, Creative, Channel and Go To Market teams to build content that is compelling to our target personas, highly discoverable and actionable, and elevates the Capital One Software brand. The ideal candidate will be an experienced B2B marketer who can simplify complex, technical topics and bring them to life in an approachable way through their content. They have a proven track record in content marketing, creative production, brand management and integrated campaigns.
Building on Capital One’s pioneering adoption of modern cloud and data capabilities, Capital One Software is a new business dedicated to helping accelerate the data management journey at scale for businesses operating in the cloud. If you think of the kind of challenges that companies face – things like data publishing, data consumption, data governance, and infrastructure management – we’ve built tools to address these various needs along the way. Capital One Software will continue to explore where we can bring our solutions to market to help other businesses address these same needs going forward.
What you’ll do
Develop and execute a holistic, integrated content strategy across channels and mediums that drives the customer lifecycle from awareness, to acquisition, activation and retention
Lead a team in day-to-day execution of this strategy who will partner with stakeholders to write, design and develop content that is clear and compelling
Produce high-quality long and short-form content including white papers, eBooks, blogs, email newsletters, case studies, web copy, landing pages, videos, tutorials and more, championing SEO best practices where relevant to improve visibility and reach
Partner with internal and external creative teams on creative strategy, resourcing, operations, briefing material, and look and feel, ensuring that all work adheres to brand voice, style, and content guidelines
Act as liaison to Capital One Software website, social and paid media teams and advise on overall content strategy for the channel
Build a content library and stand up scalable processes to create agile, iterative content
Collaborate with technology, product, and business teams to achieve a deep understanding of the target audience and their needs throughout the buyer journey
Work with Ops teams to continuously measure and improve content performance and channel KPIs
Lead A/B testing agenda of content to optimize results and evolve program
Define and influence enterprise-wide B2B product/software content marketing agenda

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
At least 5 years experience in content or creative strategy, development or production
At least 8 years of experience in a marketing role
People Leadership experience
Preferred Qualifications
7 or more years of experience in content or creative strategy, development or production
Has created a portfolio of impactful marketing content, including blogs, white papers, copy etc.
Experience developing B2B/SaaS content for the entire marketing funnel with proven results
Experience marketing technical products to technical buyers

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $172,900 – $197,300 for Sr. Manager, Marketing
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
