Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Construction Engineer to join.

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, performs routine duties.

Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.

Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.

Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.

Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.

May provide technical direction to drafters, technicians, and surveyors.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Valid US Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, pass AECOMs Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Requirements:

Masters degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or civil engineering or related field

2 years experience in implementing or managing planning, design, and/or construction projects

Advanced degree in a technical, sustainability, or business field

Ability to review facility engineering design and construction submittals

Experience developing solutions or working with a variety of engineering/construction industry software packages (e.g., power system modeling software, building automation analytics platforms)

EIT

CACM certification
