Job Description

Looking for electricians to help on the Port of Norfolk. Will be installing galvanized Rigid, PVC coated rigid, and aluminum rigid conduit. Must have experience working with 1-inch to 3-inch rigid conduit. Commercial electricians are eligible but they must have the right conduit experience.

MUST be willing to submit to a 10-year bckrnd check

Must be able to work with the conduit types above

Must have at least 5 years of experience

Electrical license is preferred but not required

Hard Skills

5 years of experience or more

Experience with 1-inch to 3-inch rigid conduit

Commercial electrical experience

Ability to work with galvanized Rigid, PVC coated rigid, and aluminum rigid conduit

Soft Skills

Industrial experience is a plus

No residential experience

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Work Environment

Must be okay with working outdoors in all weather. Required: hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses.
