Job Title: Healthcare Support (Sports Med Ops)Job Description

– Performs appropriate patient intake to determine medical history, chief complaint, and risk factors. – Develops and implements injury and illness prevention strategies for athletes and the physically active. – Maintains clinic flow by directing support staff to ensure patient/parent satisfaction, patient safety, quality of care, and efficiency of clinic operations.

Hard Skills

Certification in Athletic Training is a plus

EMR experience is a plus

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Norfolk, Virginia.

Work Environment

Working in Sport Med Dept. in Main Hospital. Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed. Other Locations: Oakbrooke Health Center (Chesapeake, VA), Tech Center Urgent Care (680 Oyster Point Road Newport News, VA). Shift: 8AM-5PM
