The Opportunity
The CFO Group Business Line Risk Manager will ensure oversight activities established in the Enterprise Model Governance Policy and other Model and QAT related Standards are sufficiently performed within the CFO Group. The Manager will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), partnering with each of the CFO Group teams to properly identify and manage their model and qualified analytical tool (QAT) inventory, including pre-validation, validation, and issue remediation support. The Business Line Risk Manager will also have responsibility for coordination of Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within the CFO Group. The Manager will be responsible for data analytics, including the development of automated reporting within CFO Group Business Line Risk. Additionally, the Manager will have oversight responsibility for the Risk Appetite process within the CFO Group and will represent the team in key Independent Risk Management forums.
The Work Itself
Serve as a SME to Model / QAT Developers and Owners to support development, implementation, and use activities, ensuring alignment to Model Risk Management (MRM) Policies, Standards, and other governance documentation requirements.
Build out Model and QAT governance requirements within the CFO Group, to support current and emerging risks.
Support Model and QAT owners during the validation process, including pre-validation review, validation meetings, and remediation support, to further limit the number and severity of issue findings.
Support the remediation of Model related regulatory issues (MRIA/MRA).
Build out of data analytics, including development of automated reporting across the broader CFO Group Business Line Risk team.
Ensure that Model and QAT owners provide their quarterly Model / QAT Inventory certification on a timely basis, as part of the Business Line Risk Executive’s required attestation as Inventory Champion.
Coordinate with IT, Enterprise Risk Management, MRM, and CFO Group Business Partners for AI related initiatives, including tracking, prioritizing, and reporting.
Facilitate the preparation and distribution of the CFO Group AI, Model, & QAT Governance Scorecard to the CFO Group Leadership Council.
Manage Business Line Risk’s involvement and responsibilities associated with the Risk Appetite process, including monitoring and reporting, annual review, and limit forecasting.
Represent the CFO Group Business Line Risk team at key risk forums.
The Skills You Bring
Bachelors degree required preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field
5 years previous work experience in financial services industry, Accounting, Finance, or Risk Management
Thorough understanding of Models and QATs, including development, implementation and use requirements required
Advanced MS Excel skills required
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI
Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to drive change and initiate / execute process improvements
Experience with managing multiple projects and priorities
Demonstrated relationship management skills
Ability to leverage resources from across the organization
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation skills to multiple levels of management and associates
Ability to communicate technical topics in an easy-to-understand manner
Effective working both independently and as a team leader

Base Pay Range:
Emerging: 90000
Experienced: 120000
Expert: 150000
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan
