Location: 1000 Timken Place Iron Station NC 28080 US (Onsite)

Hours: Overnight – 12 hour shift. 7pm-7am. 2-3-2 schedule for days.

Duration: 03 Month’s Contract

Pay Range $20.00 to $24.30/hr.

We are looking for a “Maintenance Technician” to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our overnight shift team. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical building systems, such as chillers and boilers, to ensure continuous plant operations. The technician will work with a skeleton crew during the night shift, requiring the ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

Conduct inspections to identify and diagnose potential issues and perform necessary repairs.

Assist with the installation, modification, and troubleshooting of building equipment and systems.

Review and complete work orders using internal systems to track progress.

Support energy management initiatives by ensuring the efficient operation of all building systems.

Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations during inspections and repairs.

Solve routine problems using established procedures and clearly communicate information within the team.

Meet physical demands, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads over 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

Experience: 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Certifications/Licenses: HVAC EPA License preferred.

Must-Have Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills, ability to work independently during the night shift.

Nice-to-Have Skills : Field experience in plant operations or a similar role
