Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

Earn $17/hr working the 1st shift from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday. As a Production Associate, you will complete task lists as described in the Corporate Training Outline and demonstrate complete knowledge and understanding. You will maintain the raw material and finished goods warehouse area, taking pallets and putting them onto a packing machine line, dropping rolls of metal onto the pallet, and then packing up the rolls. Additionally, you will maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workstation, conduct receiving and receiving inspections on incoming raw material, perform in-process inspections of finished goods, stage finished goods for shipping, and prepare material for processing. You will facilitate the movement of material to and from the slitting machines and packaging line using overhead cranes and/or forklift trucks. Ensure that finished products are packaged in accordance with customer specifications and perform general duties related to the processing of flat rolled steel products as directed by the Plant Manager and/or the Shift Crew Chiefs.

Work Environment

Not heated or cooled but temperatures are not extreme either way. Clean and organized working environment.
