Overview
Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking a Manager, Procurement Quality Assurance to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.
This Manager is responsible for the Procurement Quality Assurance Program including oversight of policy development, procedures and practices related to the function. Ensures adherence to DOE Order 414.1 and NQA-1, as well as other applicable rules and regulations. Oversees the development and implementation of implementing procedures and process improvements. Manages a small team of quality assurance professionals and subcontractors to execute work.
Responsibilities
Effectively manages SRMC procurement quality assurance function including procedures, supplier evaluations, audits, surveillance and receipt inspection
Provides consultation and guidance for adherence and implementation of requirements under DOE Order 414.1 QA and NQA-1 specific to procurement
Acts as company representative and interface to suppliers, vendors and DOE pertaining to procurement quality assurance
Develops, implements, and supports procurement processes and cost-effective business strategies that ensure facilities and projects receive required materials of high quality and that meet specifications
Develops and/or modifies policy, procedures and/or practices related to the function
Conducts benchmarking and remains well versed in industry practice and protocol
Manages quality assurance professionals and subcontractors including, but not limited to, allocation of work assignments, work reviews, assessments, development and overall leadership
May provide training to employees and managers
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and progressive experience in the quality assurance field
Additional Information:
A minimum of 5 years Procurement Quality experience is required
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science preferred
Management or leadership over the quality assurance function
Specification development and quality control experience
Demonstrated competence in DOE, DOD, and/or Commercial Nuclear QA/QC programs and procurement practices
Qualification as a lead auditor (NQA-1) or equivalent

USD $125,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Pay
USD $220,000.00/Yr.
