Job Description

Assist with setting up and operating a blow molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications. Turn valves to start the flow of water and release air pressure to the machine. Move machine controls to set the timing unit and temperature of the heating unit and start the automatic feed mechanism. Adjust the machine mandrel and align the mandrel with the mold chamber using wrenches. Start the molding machine that automatically feeds material from the mixing unit to the mandrel and to the mold chamber. Close the chamber to mold products under heat and pressure. Regrind excess material and unsatisfactory workpieces for reuse using a grinding machine. Weigh completed workpieces to determine the accuracy of machine operation.

Hard Skills

Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic arithmetic

This is a fully on-site position in Conyers, Georgia.
