Randstad Finance & Accounting (Tatum) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant available with a leading beverage distributor in metro Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities

Support the month-end and year-end closing process.

Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions in compliance with GAAP requirements

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations – full balance sheet

Journal entries

P&L analytics

Help drive process improvements

Assist warehouse, sales team and other accounting team members as needed

Assist with monthly sales and use and excise tax filings and payments

Complete projects, ad-hoc requests, and other responsibilities as required

Prepare and provide supporting documentation for year-end audit

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in accounting

3 year of experience

Strong communication skills, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, deadline orientated, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
