Structural Mechanic III
We are seeking experienced Structural Mechanics to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of structural assembly tasks under minimal supervision, ensuring parts meet specifications and customer expectations. You will utilize tools, blueprints, and work orders to complete high-quality assemblies, while also assisting and instructing team members.
Requirements:
– High School Diploma or GED required.
– 4 years of related structural assembly experience.
– Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
– Q-stamp preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform assembly, fitting, drilling, and riveting of structural parts.
– Work with sheet metal layout, fabrication, and installation.
– Read blueprints and sketches, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
– Assist team members and resolve production issues.
– Maintain a clean and safe workspace, supporting 5S and Lean initiatives.
Skills:
– Basic computer and shop math skills.
– Proficient in the use of tools and equipment.
– Ability to work any shift and in confined spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs.
