Title and Summary

Senior Business Assistant

Overview:

The Senior Business Assistant will support the Executive Vice President Finance, Franchise, Risk, and IMC Technology based out of Mastercard’s Miami, FL office. A high energy, creative, tech savvy professional with strong attention to detail, integrity and trust is desired. The role includes performing general administrative duties such as scheduling of meetings, complex travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, and maintaining department records, among other core responsibilities. The incumbent will also work on projects supporting the team and contribute to the overall performance of the function.

Role:

• Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel complex arrangements, expense reporting, executive calendar management, ensuring operational efficiencies and coordination within the group

• Prepare communications, reports, presentations, or other assigned documentation

• Ensure all meeting and technology support is appropriately coordinated for meetings and events

• Administer programs, projects or processes specific to Data and Services business

• Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company

• May research special topics and/or work on project-based initiatives as applicable

All about you:

• Executive administrative experience in a global corporate environment interfacing with senior and executive level management

• Keen sense of urgency with a results-driven orientation and proactive mindset

• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and persuade, to work collaboratively across functions, and to interact effectively with stakeholders

• Ability to prioritize and discern what is truly important

• Ability to think outside the box and solve problems creatively; capability to self-start and seek solutions for every day challenges, and to anticipate the teams needs

• Ability to think beyond, for what makes sense in executing with excellence

• Strong computer/ technology skills, including the ability to manage and understand internal systems

• Strong written & verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in MS office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams); Oracle required

• Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task

• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure

• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality

• College degree preferred

• Prior exposure to technology leadership is an asset, but not required

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
