Associate Engineer, Systems (West Palm Beach, FL)

We are seeking an Associate Engineer, Systems Development & Verification for our Huntsville, AL Defense headquarters office. This position will support the Large Solid Rocket Motor programs, reporting to the Senior Manager, System Development, Verification & Test Engineering.

90% – Operating under direct supervision, the candidate will be supporting RL10 Production & Development programs and Hypersonics programs, including system integration, engine system development & verification, planning, test planning, testing in various environments, engine system and subsystem test, test equipment & facility coordination, test article assembly coordination & hardware assessment, instrumentation requirements and coordination, test readiness review & risk assessment and verification & test report documentation.

10% – Limited travel in support of customer meetings an off-site testing as required.

Bachelors in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or related technical discipline. A strong academic track record is required. An advanced degree is desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
